Holiday paradise for everyone – whether it is a generous holiday house, an independent holiday apartment or a holiday for two in a guestroom – all within walking distance of the beach and the town

This is a holiday house ensemble with a charming interior courtyard in a quiet location on the edge of the village centre. Owing to the ideal location, you can walk to the centre and the picturesque harbour, as well as the idyllic natural beaches. The area is lined with holiday houses belonging to Croatians and is on the east coast of the island of Brač, which is connected to the mainland at Makarska by ferry.

The special feature of this privately let out holiday accommodation, which consists of several separate units, is the fact that they can be combined in different ways, meeting a range of requirements. It offers a whole 102m² holiday house (atraveo no. 984613) for up to six adults and two children, as well as two holiday apartments of ca. 35m² (atraveo nos. 984614 and 984615), each for up to three guests, and two guest rooms of 16m² (nos. 984616 and 984617) each for a couple, on the upper floor of the neighbouring house.

While the holiday house has a private interior courtyard with a grill, the outdoor area of the apartments and guest rooms is a shared balcony and a shared courtyard with a grill.

The owners, Jakica and Vinko, live in the separate lower floor of the second house and are very discreet, as well as child-friendly and family-friendly. As former managers of their own guest ship, they have a lot of experience with guests and are both amateur fishing enthusiasts. They are happy to assist with any queries. A little surprise from their organic garden can regularly be found on the guest table. For longer stays, a panoramic excursion with their boat, a trip to their olive grove, or a dinner are included in the price of the accommodation.

Both houses are accessed separately from outdoors from the street and the entrance, although a connection can be created via the hobby room and the owners’ wine cellar and the respective interior courtyard if a larger group books all the accommodation together.

It is about 400 metres from the house to cafés and restaurants, as well as shops in the village centre. The beach is just 200 metres away, as well as the lovely natural beaches “Baywatch” and “Jezero”. It is just 50 minutes by ferry to the town of Makarska on the mainland, or you can visit the famous beach in Bol (25km), or one of the many trip destinations on the island of Brač and its surroundings. In the north-west of the island, in Supetar (40km away) there is a ferry to Split, taking about two hours.

The playfully decorated holiday house provides 160m² of living space on three floors. It has three bedrooms, an open living, cooking and dining room with sofa beds, and two bathrooms. The last floor has one open living space with bathroom and 35 m2 terrace with mountain and see wiev. The lower floor has a bedroom with a double bed and its own bathroom with a shower and WC, as well as another bedroom with a single bed. The mezzanine level comprises the dining space, the cooking area and a bathroom with a bath. You can relax in the living room on pull-out sofa, with a flatscreen TV with satellite channels providing entertainment. Upstairs there is a generous bedroom for three people with a double bed and a single bed, with a sea view and looking out onto the interior courtyard. The kitchen enables simple self-catering with a two-ring hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle.

The upper floor has bathroom with shower and WC, open living area with sofa, chairs, flat TV and area with bar, ice machine, microwave and coffe ketlle. From that area you reach 35m2 sunny terrace with mountain and sea view.

Owing to the free wireless Internet connection you are accessible on holiday on your mobile devices, can add the final touches to your holiday planning after arrival, or can send your holiday greetings and photos straight to your acquaintances.

Pleasantly designed holiday house with a private interior courtyard with plants, on an island, just 200 metres from a swimming bay

The generous interior courtyard with a little garden is surrounded by a wall and therefore suitable for spending undisturbed time with children. After sunbathing on the deckchairs you can cool off under the outdoor shower and rest in outdoor pool. You can use the grill and garden furniture fordining together outdoors. Nearby is provided parking space for two cars.

    “Absolut zu empfehlen! Schön für Familien, da ruhig und sehr privat. Positiv: Eine tolle Unterkunft mit wunderschönen Ausblick auf Berge und das Meer. Superliebe Vermieter bei denen man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Negativ: Die Preise im Markt (eine Art Rewe to Go) sind ziemlich hoch.”

    “Das Ferienhaus liegt etwa 5 Gehminuten von Hafen und Stadtstrand an der historischen Kirche vorbei auf der Anhöhe hinter einem Holztor. Öffnet man dieses betritt man eine dem vorbeilaufenden verschlossnes Kleinod mit Grillplatz, Sitzgelegenheit und erfrischenden Pool.
    Das Haus selbst ist in allen Wohnbereichen mit dem Kalkstein lokaler Steinbrüche ausgestattet worden, welcher in den Sommermonaten die Kühle speichert und die Hitze aussperrt. Die gesamte Ausstattung des Hauses wurde mit handwerklichem Geschick und Liebe zum Detail geplant und eingebaut. Besonders große Freude hatten wir am Vorbeiten der Speisen in der steinernen Küche und am Grillen im Hof in der Abendhitze.”
