Modern holiday home with pool surrounded by forest and olive groves

The Prislin holiday house is between the fishing village of Kampor and the town of Rab. The site is surrounded by forest and olive groves. Towards the west, one has an extensive view from the terrace and pool over the Kampor valley and the forests of the Kalifront nature reserve, and you can also enjoy wonderful sunsets.

The very comfortably furnished house has three bedrooms on the first floor, each with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and air conditioning, as well as a bathroom with a bath. The ground floor has a shower room and a living and dining room with an open kitchen and a wood-burning oven. The air-conditioned living room opens onto the roofed terrace with another dining space and a cosy lounge. The pool directly adjoins the terrace and is open from the beginning of May to the end of October. There is also a courtyard sheltered from the wind, with sun loungers and a hammock. A charcoal grill is available. The property is not fully fenced.

To the rear of the house there is a separately accessed apartment with its own entrance and space for two further people. It has a pull-out day bed (80 x 200cm or 160 x 200cm), a kitchen unit, a shower room and its own terrace sheltered from views in. This apartment can only be rented in addition to the main house. If you book the house (for six people) without the apartment, then it can sometimes be occupied by the owner, who will not disturb you but is willing to assist with any queries if required.

Two supplementary beds are available (80 x 190cm), but they are only suitable for children. If you would like to use these, please contact the owner prior to arrival to discuss the details. Therefore the house and apartment can even accommodate up to ten people.

There are smaller grocery shops within a few minutes’ walk, while you can find larger supermarkets in Kampor and Rab about five minutes away by car. The nearest beach is the little sandy beach “Mel” in Kampor, about two kilometres away. This beach has a flatly shelved seabed and is therefore ideal for little children. In Kampor bay there are also some restaurants and a diving centre. About three kilometres from the holiday house on the Kalifront peninsula there is the locality of Suha Punta. From there, an extensive network of walking and cycling trails stretches out, leading to countless rocky bays with crystal clear, turquoise-coloured water. It is ideal to explore this nature reserve by mountain bike. In Suha Punta there are also three beautiful tennis courts right by the sea. The seafront promenade in the town of Rab (4km) is particularly charming. It is about an hour’s walk away or 20 minutes by bicycle.

    “Schattiger gepflegter Garten, schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes, großzügiges Haus mit guter Raumaufteilung, gute Poolgröße. Leider etwas abseits gelegen, aber auch zu Fuß einige nette Punkte erreichbar, viel Wald für ausgiebige Hundespaziergang”

    “Super ausgestattetes Ferienhaus Positiv: Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Man erreicht viele Einkaufs- und Bademöglichkeiten mit dem Auto innerhalb weniger Minuten. Schöne Außenbereiche und einladender Pool. Nette Vorort-Betreuung. Gerne wieder. Negativ: Man muss fairerweise dazusagen, dass das Objekt nicht mehr so freistehend ist, wie es auf den Bildern aussieht. Ein weiteres Ferienhaus befindet sich mittlerweile direkt daneben.”
