Jelsa on the island of Hvar is a well-known tourist destination with plenty of cultural attractions, beautiful beaches and a rich culinary offer. This holiday home is located in the suburbs, 1200 m away form the centre, which you can reach on a promenade. The simply furnished holiday home has three bedrooms and in front of it, there is a spacious terrace with a barbeque, where you can relax and enjoy Mediterranean greenery. We recommend excursions to the nearby island of Zecevo or even to the neighbouring island of Brac, where one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic is located. Make sure to visit the town of Hvar and the Pakleni islands.

    “Nachteilig war, dass die Vermieter, ein bosnisches Ehepaar, kein Wort Deutsch sprachen und eine Verständigung unmöglich war. Da es sich um ein älteres Objekt handelt machte das Haus einen eher abgewohnten Eindruck, war aber sauber. Für Hundebesitzer wäre ein Staubsauger ideal, der nicht vorhanden war. Ebenso war die Umfriedung des großen Grundstücks mit Steinmauern lückenhaft. Sehr nett empfanden wir, dass die Vermieterin leider erst in der letzten Woche, einen Bekannten mitbrachte, der Deutsch sprach und uns fragte ob wir denn zufrieden wären. Da keine Kommunikation möglich war, tauchten die Vermieter wiederholt auf um auf dem Grundstück irgendwelche Arbeiten zu verrichten. Es wäre wünschenswert, dass man sich gleich zu Urlaubsbeginn sich für solche Tätigkeiten Termine vereinbart, da das unerwartete Auftauchen doch etwas störend ist. Wir würden das Objekt für eine Familie mit maximal 2 Kindern empfehlen, da trotz drei Schlafzimmern die Räumlichkeiten doch etwas beengt sind. Das Mitbringen eines Rades ist sehr empfehlenswert, da alle Geschäfte in Jelsa sind und man ca. 1,5km zu Fuß zurücklegen muss.

    Dafür genießt man aber die Ruhe des etwas abgelegenen Hauses und hat ein ungestörte Privatsphäre. Die Wegbeschreibung ist ungenau und das Haus war ohne Kontaktierung der Vermieter nicht zu finden. Es muss Fontana Resort heißen und nicht wie von Ihnen angegeben Fortuna. Nach dem Resort fahren Sie exakt 700 Meter, dann links den Berg hoch und nach ca. 50 Metern wieder links, da sich die Straße gabelt. Nach weiteren ca. 80 Metern biegen Sie nochmals links ab und fahren in entgegengesetzter Richtung etwa 50 Meter am Berghang retour. Das Haus liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse.”
