You are here in a very hilly region, dotted with rivers and streams (is Ségala not called the Land of the Hundred Valleys?), a wooded and wild setting.
Supervised swimming and many unusual sports and leisure activities at Cap Découverte, or at the Roucarié leisure center. Also come and discover the Thuriès site and the ruins of the castle, located in the heart of the Viaur valley, where you will find a climbing rock, a picnic area, a canoeing area.
Find a remarkable heritage between 20 min and 40 min drive: Albi (30 min by RN88) classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, Cordes sur Ciel, Monestiès (most beautiful village), Sauveterre de Rouergue, the thousand-year-old vineyard of Gaillac.
**The Cottage**
This simple comfort gîte is located in the small hamlet of Monsec in the Ségala Tarnais. You are at the end of a dead end in the quiet hamlet with no other view than fields.
Located on the upper floor of an old farm, it is independent and offers a magnificent view of Lake Fontbonne. Access via a wide, gently sloping cut stone staircase. From the large kitchen/dining room, you access a balcony overlooking the interior courtyard, where you can enjoy your meals while enjoying the freshness of the old stones and use the barbecue. The kitchen also joins a small living room. Well-equipped kitchen including, dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven, mini-oven, microwave, electric coffee maker, kettle, toaster, pressure cooker, refrigerator with freezer compartment)
Bedroom area: Three large bedrooms with a 140 cm bed. One with an additional 90 cm bed. Shower room with walk-in shower, separate toilet. Oil heating.
It is possible to park in the large courtyard in front of the house, but also to benefit from a carport.
