Sonja 2 apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeps up to 5) is a newly constructed, modern beachfront apartment covering an area of 50 sq.m. It is located in Kalamaki, Chania, offering a prime location right in front of the sea, amidst numerous beautiful and fully equipped sandy beaches, as well as a plethora of tourist amenities. This apartment is the perfect choice for those seeking a comfortable and scenic retreat. The area boasts a multitude of fish taverns, restaurants, beach bars, and a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day and night, all within the splendid natural setting of peninsulas and crystal-clear waters.

The apartment features a tastefully decorated living room with comfortable sofas. One of the sofas can be converted into a comfortable bed. A dining table is provided, and the living room seamlessly connects to a fully equipped modern open-plan kitchen. The living room opens to a spacious balcony with patio furniture, offering unobstructed views of the breathtaking sea and the surrounding area.

There are two modern, cozy, and comfortable double bedrooms, each beautifully decorated, as well as a common, fully equipped modern bathroom.

The apartment shares a common swimming pool with its twin sister apartments and has separate furnished areas with loungers and umbrellas for the relaxation of each apartment's guests. The pool caters to various needs, providing ample space for both exercise and leisure.

Adjacent to the apartment, there is an abundance of free enclosed parking spaces.

Kalamaki is a renowned area, equally famous as Chania city itself. It is just 5km from Chania city center, 20km from Souda airport, and 1.3km from the national road leading to Kissamos, Rethymno, or Heraklion. The area is brimming with amenities and attractions, from daytime supermarkets, ATMs, taverns, and beach activities to a vibrant nightlife featuring beach bars, bars, and clubs.

Please note that as of January 1, 2018, a new government tax has been introduced for all reservations in hotels and apartments, which is not included in the provided total price. The additional cost is 0.50 euros per night and should be paid directly in cash on the spot.

    “Wij (2 volwassen en 1 kind) verbleven 14 nachten in dit verblijf (Sonja 2) Geboekt via TUI. Het appartement is prima, echt niets mis mee, echter de appartementen (3) zijn gelegen aan een zéér drukke doorgaande weg waar dag en nacht heel veel verkeer over heen gaat. In de beschrijving van het appartement stond “een levendige atmosfeer” waarvan wij nu echt een andere betekenis hebben ervaren! Dag en nacht echt heel veel lawaai van startende en optrekkende auto’s, motoren en bussen! De appartementen liggen vlak naast een druk kruispunt met verkeerslichten, waardoor veel overlast ontstaat. We hebben 14 dagen zeer slecht geslapen en werden elke ochtend wakker met hoofdpijn. De eigenaar hebben wij 2 weken niet gezien. Ook de laatste 4 dagen hebben wij geen schone handdoeken ontvangen.”
