Casa Solata is a comfortable holiday apartment situated in a small Tuscan hamlet, where only 12 people live nowadays. The setting, along one of the paths of the Valdambra, is characterized by quiet and peace and offers various marked trails for trekking and mountain bikes. The owners, very friendly and helpful people, live in an apartment with access onto the garden and to the swimming pool (for ordinary maintenance). Please note that the owners have dogs and cats that live in the property. Rustic furnishings. The property, completely fenced-in, can be accessed via 3.8km unpaved road not suitable to sports cars.


Distances: Bucine with supermarket, banks, restaurants, train station, gas station 9km, Montevarchi with outlet Space (Prada) 18km, Gaiole in Chianti (L’Eroica) 19km, Rapolano Terme (spa resort) 26km, Vagliagli with ABV offices 36km, Siena 40km, Florence 71km, Lucca 142km, Pisa 150km,Rome 230km.


At guests’ disposal: private swimming pool (5m x 9m; depth 1,20m; open 15/05-30/09), completely fenced-in garden, gazebo equipped with table and chairs. On request and to be paid on the spot: wood for the fireplace, welcome basket (food).


First floor, access through a loggia shared with the owner: living room with fireplace, SAT-TV, dining area and kitchen corner (oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher) and access onto a small panoramic terrace, bathroom with shower (skylight, washing machine), one double bedroom. Some steps lead to a reading room with double sofa bed and SAT-TV.

    “Super ruhig. Super entspannend.
    Freundliche Vermieter.
    Versorgten und immer mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten.

    Netter Hund wohnt mit auf dem Anwesen. Kinder hatten viel Spaß mit ihm.

    Pool ist groß und wird täglich gereinigt.

    “Schöne saubere FeWo in Solata mit einer tollen Aussicht, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Auch für Kinder ist diverses Spielzeug vorhanden, bspw. Lego, Lego Duplo, Federball, Luftmatratze für den Pool, Bücher und Zeitschriften (allerdings nur in italienisch). W-Lan steht zur Verfügung, ebenso wie ein Fernseher, jedoch lediglich mit italienischem Programm. Absolut ruhig und idyllisch gelegen, super zum Entspannen. Der große und saubere Pool steht zur Alleinnutzung zur Verfügung. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, wir wurden regelmäßig mit frischem Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Einziger Nachteil dieser FeWo: der Ort Solata ist auf dem letzten Teil der Anfahrt nur über eine sehr kurvenreiche Schotterstraße zu erreichen. Nicht geeignet für tiefergelegte Fahrzeuge, mit einem gängigen Pkw aber machbar.
    Fazit: Wir hatten als Familie mit zwei poolbegeisterten Kindern einen tollen und erholsamen Urlaub, gerne wieder!”

    “Schöne Ferienwohnung, gut ausgestattet und sauber. Schöner großer Pool zum schwimmen u. relaxen.
    Sehr nette hilfsbereite Vermieter die uns auch gerne mit Gemüse aus dem Garten versorgt haben.
    Schöner Ausblick über die Berge und ins Tal. Unter gewissen Umständen(siehe Ortsbewertung) würden wir gerne wieder kommen.”

    “Nous avons passé des vacances formidables au calme et au soleil! Le logement est très propre. L'accueil de Lorena et Giuliano exceptionnel.
