Just a stone's throw from Carcassonne's historic centre, the bastide Saint-Louis, discover the gîte La Charmante, located on the banks of the River Aude and ideally situated close to all amenities (Cité de Carcassonne with access on foot from the banks of the River Aude, shops, restaurants, festivities, historic town centre or the Canal du Midi, Lac de la Cavayère).

 You can visit all the treasures of Carcassonne on foot or by car! There are a number of must-see sites around Carcassonne, including the magnificent natural landscapes of the Montagne Noire, the beautiful villages of the Aude (Lagrasse, Montolieu, Caunes-Minervois, etc.), the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours and the Massif de l'Alaric. The sea is just 50 minutes away.

On site, the gîte has its own private swimming pool, 1.17 m deep, ideal for cooling off in the summer months, as well as an enclosed garden with a terrace area featuring garden furniture and a barbecue to make the most of your meals. Just imagine yourself basking in the sun and enjoying a relaxing holiday. A second terrace is located at the rear of the gîte.

You can easily find a parking space in front of the gîte or in the street. This air-conditioned, single-storey gîte opens onto a corridor leading to a separate, fully-equipped kitchen with dining table, a living room with sofa and connected TV. A separate shower room (shower, washbasin and WC). A first bedroom with a 160cm bed and a second bedroom with two 90cm beds. At the end of the corridor is direct access to a second terrace. Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning included. Baby equipment available on request. WIFI connection. Laundry room with washing machine.
